Details and goals:

Dog Walker is a mobile application where users can book a dog walker online near by their location. As per the research we conducted, about 40% to 50% people who are not able to manage their dog walking schedule due to their busy life or a job schedule. We have a different features like calender and recurring booking so they dont need to remember the date or time, our alert will remind them about upcoming schedules. Our goal is to reach those people who have busy life, on call schedules or people who want to go for a long holidays but worrying about their dog.

User research and Persona

User Flow

During user research I have created user flow for better understanding of flow of the dog walker app.

Lo-Fi Wireframes

I have created Lo-Fi wireframe and conducted usability study afterward. The reason behind the Lo-Fi wireframes is, if any iterations comes up at this stage, it would be easy to make a changes as per the recommandations and suggestions.

Usability Study

After the Lo-Fi wireframes, I conducted unmoderate usability study on 5 participants. In this research I have asked couple questions. The reason behind the usability study during protytyping phase is, I wanted to know that how the users are feeling while booking a dog walker and how hard for them to book a dog walker. For me that was also important that how much time they are taking from "Homepage" to the "confirm booking" page.

Hi-Fi Prototype

Moving from wireframe to Hi-Fi prototype made it easy to understand how the redesign could help to address the user pain points and improve the user experience
